Jeans are super hard for me to find but I found myself loving the modern ‘mom jeans’. It’s higher waisted but has a relaxed fit. Skinny jeans are great for elongating me, but sometimes I just don’t feel like squeezing myself into them! I then reach to my mom jeans for a comfier and casual fit. It helps to fold the bottoms so that they are slightly above my ankles so that I don’t make myself look even shorter than I am! 🙂

I am often in this army green utility jacket. It’s one of my favorite pieces and is perfect for a slightly cooler day. It pulled my whole every day look together, along with my navy blue sneakers! What do you guys think about mom jeans?

The fiance and I spent a day roaming around Silverlake in Los Angeles and found super cute stores, cafes, and cool walls. My hair wasn’t really cooperating that day, so I put on one of my beanies to take care of that. It was a little gloomy and cold that day too so the beanie was appropriate.

There was a really cute little corner where we discovered this cool tiled fountain. And then we found this cool wall mural so naturally, I took pictures with both! There’s nothing better than spending a nice afternoon just exploring town! 🙂

I’m all about comfy pants! I know I wear a lot of jeans but that’s because I have a lot of trouble finding comfier pants that fit me well. I recently purchased these green pants that tie at the waist and I can roll the pant legs up for a casual and comfy fit. I highly recommend getting pair of these for your closet if you’re lazy like me! 🙂

I spent the afternoon getting lunch at a BBQ place and browsing local shops in this outfit. If I can eat a ton of food and walk comfortably, then that’s a statement on how easy this outfit is!

Sometimes I love monochromatic looks. You can sometimes find me in all white or all black outfits. I know, my color schemes are very limited, but I know what I like! I wore this super casual and comfy black denim jacket over a simple white tee, jeans, and sneakers. I decided to pair my black and white clutch with this look to complement the black and white aspect even more so.

I’m usually afraid to wear white jeans because I feel like I’d get them so dirty. We actually had desserts at Dominique Ansel’s Bakery in The Grove and I nearly spilled some jelly on myself! I guess I’m most clumsy when I’m most vulnerable to stains! But don’t let that scare you from wearing all white, it’s such an amazing and clean look!

I love feminine and soft pieces like this blouse. The sheer fabric with lace underneath is right up my alley! What’s also a plus is that this is a bodysuit so I don’t have to worry about it being tucked in properly or anything. I’d love to pair it with a skirt, maybe once the weather warms up. Bodysuits are a go-to item for me these days because it’s so simple to throw on and I don’t need to worry about it so much (until I go to the bathroom).

It was awfully chilly over the weekend and of course, we found our way to San Pedro which probably felt even colder over there! I had to go pick up my sister and her boyfriend from the San Pedro Port because they were coming back from a cruise. Since we were in the area, we decided to go eat at the San Pedro Fish Market and Restaurant. Although I was freezing my butt off, it was super delicious!

I wore my new black turtle neck body suit with this cool tie detail on the front. It’s a thicker fabric so it kept me fairly warm. I also threw over a longline black coat over it, which was much needed with how windy it was! I felt like my outfit looked super dressy, so I decided to balance it out with a pair of casual sneakers. It was a great all day outfit, because I wore it to dinner with the girls as well!
